Chicken Jambalaya

2 1/2 oz turkey sausage, chopped
1 chopped onion
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
28 oz canned whole tomatoes, with juice
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup uncooked white rice

Saute sausage until crispy on edges.  Add onion, celery, and green pepper; sauté till tender.  Reduce heat and stir in cayenne, thyme, salt, pepper, and garlic.  Saute.  Stir in chicken, tomatoes, broth and rice.  Bring to a simmer.  Cover and let cook until rice is tender, about 20 minutes.
