2 sticks butter, softened
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 cups old fashioned or quick cooking oats
12 oz bag semisweet chocolate chunks, chopped
1 cup pecans, chopped
Heat oven to 350. Have baking sheets ready. Put butter, both sugars, cinnamon, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Beat with mixer, starting on low speed and increasing to high, until well blended. Reduce speed to low; beat in flour just until blended. Stir in oats, chocolate and pecans. Drop rounded tablespoons about 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake one sheet at a time, 10-12 minutes, or until cookies are golden brown. Cool 1 minute on baking sheet, then remove to a wire rack to cool.
