Crescent Cheeseburgers

1 pound ground beef, browned
3 Tbsp dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 tsp salt
Dash pepper
8 slices American Cheese
2 cans crescent dinner rolls

Preheat oven to 375.  Stir in chili sauce, soup mix, salt and pepper to browned hamburger meat.  Simmer 10 minutes.  Separate crescent rolls.  Spoon hot meat mix over triangles.  Roll up, starting at shortest side of triangle and rolling to opposite point, cut each cheese slice in half.  Place a cheese half over each meat filled crescent.  (Or you could put this slice inside the crescent, on top of the meat mixture before rolling up).  Place on ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake 12-17 minutes or until golden brown.
