Chicken and Crab Gumbo

1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup chopped onion
1 tsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 Tbsp all purpose flour
3 cups chicken broth
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen cut okra
1/4 cup quick cooking rice
2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 bay leaf
2 (5 oz each) cans chunk style chicken, drained
1 (6 1/2 oz) can crabmeat, drained and cartilage removed

In saucepan, cook pepper, onion, and garlic in hot oil till vegetables are tender.  Stir in flour.  Stir in chicken broth, tomatoes, okra, rice, Cajun seasoning, and bay leaf.  Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 6-10 minutes.  Stir in chicken and crabmeat.  Heat through.  Remove bay leaf.
