Baked Cheese Stuffing Casserole

2 cups water
1 Tbsp butter
 1 pkg stove top savory herbs stuffing mix
1 egg, lightly beaten
3/4 cup Mexican style shredded four cheese

Preheat oven to 375.  Bring water and butter to boil in saucepan.  Stir in stuffing mix; cover.  Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes.  Stir egg and 1/2 cup of the cheese into stuffing mixture until blended.  Spoon into greased 9 inch pie plate.  Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese.  Bake 20 minutes or until lightly brown and cheese on top is melted.
